At Evolved, tutoring isn’t about teaching to the test. Rather then implement short term bandaids we focus on skill building and long term learning to ensure you’re putting the right educational building blocks in place.
We work with students from elementary school through college to strengthen subject mastery, build effective learning and planning habits, and prepare for exams such as the ACT, SAT, and ISEE. Support is always tailored to a student’s age, needs, and stage of education, ensuring that skills developed now continue to support future success. Tutoring
Available from Elementary through College, academic tutoring supports subject mastery while reinforcing foundational learning skills. Sessions are individualized and responsive to classroom expectations, helping students build confidence and competence across subjects.
- Executive Function and Academic Tutoring: Subject-based support focused on skill development, mastery of content, and academic confidence.
- Executive-Rate Tutoring: Advanced, highly specialized tutoring for complex academic needs, intensive support, or senior-level strategy and skill-building.
- Concierge Tutoring: On-demand tutoring for when students need to prepare for tests or quizzes or write papers
Test Prep
Test prep at Evolved focuses on readiness, strategy, and skill development — not just practice tests. We help students understand test structure, build stamina, and strengthen the academic and executive function skills that lead to meaningful score improvement. Our test prep tutoring services cover a full range of exams, including ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and other specialized entrance exams.
Test preparation includes:
- Individualized instruction tailored to the specific exam
- Two full-length mock tests and unlimited practice assigned by tutor to target key areas
- Access to the Test Innovators platform
- Strategic review of results and targeted skill-building
Executive Function Skill Development
Executive function support is woven into all tutoring at Evolved. For students who struggle with organization, planning, follow-through, or time management, this work is often transformative. It’s especially important as students move into Middle and High School and are expected to manage increasing independence.
