A group of certified early childhood educators created the developmental checklist. It is based on the DAY-C and HELP assessments and focuses on the areas of development that align with the private school application process for kindergarten in New York State. 

Each child will progress at their own pace, and this checklist is an excellent way to check in with various areas of development for your child. You can use it to ask questions of your child’s teachers and doctors. It is an excellent way to focus your observations and attention.
