Having an exceptional team of tutors and consultants has always been my ambition because I know that having the best possible educator to work with is paramount to having excellent support and I want my families to have the very best.

Doug Lennox

College Advisor and Recruitment Advisor

As a former college recruiter, Doug shared the same philosophy as Evolved Education: we are here to empower students by offering information, kindness and an unwavering belief in their potential. Once students commit to taking ownership of their life’s journey they will not simply “find themselves;” they will learn how to “create themselves.”

Doug Lennox joins Evolved Education after spending three years as an elementary school teacher in Brooklyn and 10 years as a club and college swim coach. Each of Doug’s prior employers are considered elite institutions in their respective fields: Leadership Prep Ocean Hill was the top-achieving elementary school in Brooklyn during his tenure from 2010-2013. Then, Doug coached Olympian Lia Neal at Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics at the Upper East Side while also serving as the inaugural site coach for the Battery Park City team. Then, Doug pivoted to work with elite NCAA student-athletes at New York University, Kenyon College and Princeton University. As a Princeton graduate himself, Doug brings a wealth of personal experience, professional insights, and intimate relationships to the table. Needless to say, Doug’s behind-the-scenes understanding of the athletic recruitment rules and timelines as well as the admissions processes have prepared him to mentor your student through the college search and application processes.
