Dr. Jamie Holland, PT, DPT, CKTP. Jamie is the owner and founder of Move It, Baby! LLC, a private pediatric physical therapy practice based in Manhattan. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal impairments in the pediatric population including conditions such as torticollis/plagiocephaly, developmental delay, and toe walking.
Melissa Wexler Gurfein, MS CCC-SLP, TSHH. Melissa is an experienced New York State Licensed and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech and language pathologist specializing with children ages 12 months to 21 years old diagnosed with communication differences.
Jessica Lee Zambito, M.S. OTR/L, Owner & Director: BLOOM Sensory Gym. Jessica is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years experience. She founded BLOOM sensory gym at 179 N. 7th St, Brooklyn after learning of a strong need & desire for a pediatric therapy center in her community, as well as Spring Ahead Pediatric at 39 West 14th St, Manhattan. Jessica utilizes an evidence-based, holistic & playful approach in working with children.
Dr. Hina Talib, MD FAAP, Atria Institute (She/Her). Dr. Talib is a board certified Pediatrician and Adolescent Medicine specialist, writer, and teen media creative based in New York City and Bridgehampton. She cares for teens & families at her new practice within the Atria Institute. She is the co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Thread Health, the first digital health service bringing skilled adolescent health care into the hands of teens and their families. Her clinical focus includes all things teen health, mental health, wellness and gynecology.
Randi Dumont, Middle and High School Placement Advisor. Randi brings her expertise within admissions work and schools not only in NYC but also in the Northeastern USA to her families to ensure they have the best-fit school list, exemplary applications, and full support during the entire process.
Becky Reback, Head of Tutoring and Parent Education Services. School Placement Advisor (K-12, Special Education). No matter what service you have with Evolved, you are bound to meet Becky! Becky’s wide range of expertise and experience allow her to lead tutors, support parents and create meaningful coaching experiences.
Caitlin Hasson, Nursery and Kindergarten Elementary School Placement Advisor. Caitlin helps guide families through the school placement process for both public and private schools. Prior to joining Evolved, she was an educator for ten years in New York City independent schools, primarily teaching Kindergarten for the majority of her career in the classroom.
Dr. Heidi Bender, PhD, ABPP-CN, Park Avenue Neuropsychology. Heidi Allison Bender is a Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist with 15+ years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan. Dr. Bender holds leadership positions in both local and national-level neuropsychology organizations, is a prolific author of over 40 manuscripts, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries, and is a frequent speaker for both in-person conferences and virtual media.
Wendy Marks, Advisor at the Camp Experts and Teen Summers.I specialize in finding best fit between the child and the summer camp or teen program. Typically, parents schedule a consult call with me so I can find out what they are looking for, hear about their child’s interests and personality, and any parameters regarding budget and dates/length of time. I then recommend programs that I know will have space, and seem a good fit, connect them with directors.
Deborah Malkoff-Cohen, MS, RD, CDN, CDE. Deborah Malkoff-Cohen, MS, RD, CDN, CDE is the founder and owner of City Kids Nutrition, a nutritional consultation service for children living in and around New York City. Known for her innovative approach to spooning nutritional knowledge into small bellies, Deborah is passionate about helping kids achieve physical and emotional health.
Dr. Alexandra Barnett, PhD, Milestones Psychology. Dr. Alexandra Barnett is a clinical psychologist at Milestones Psychology. As a certified therapist and trainer of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dr. Barnett coaches parents of children in the moment to manage a variety of challenges, including behavioral issues, anxiety and selective mutism. Dr. Barnett received her PhD at DePaul University in Chicago, and completed her clinical internship at Columbia University Medical Center and post-doctoral fellowship at Kurtz Psychology Consulting. For her doctoral dissertation, she brought techniques of PCIT into Chicago Head Start preschools in the first study with random assignment of Universal Teacher-Child Interaction Training (TCIT-U). Dr. Barnett began her career in New York City, working at the NYU Child Study Center on a randomized control trial of ParentCorps. This universal intervention is now the standard social emotional curriculum for Pre-K for All programs throughout New York City. At Milestones, Dr. Barnett enjoys collaborating with her multidisciplinary team of clinicians, many of whom are also parents, neuropsychologists, and staff who have held high level positions in schools in NYC.
